How to splurge yourself in Midvalley IN MY WAY!!

May and I wanted to get out of the 4-wall room. So, we went to Midvalley with a theme or aim, you should say: Spend the minimum but get the MAXIMUM enjoyment!


Ohohoho...By looking at the card above, you all must be thinking the perfect way to splurge yourself in the Megamall would be shopping or maybe window shopping if we dont wanna spend. But, sorry guys... Shopping? Is not my hobby at all. Why? I have no idea.. For me, shopping, most of the time, is kinda bored.. Choose this, aiyah.. too expensive. Choose that, aiyah.. too lauyah.. >>>>> headache. So stress to do shopping. *ouch*


Oh well, I use the free-subcard above [thanks to May for applying the principle card so that I dont have to spend any cent on this blue card :)] for something I prefer more, which is:

10% off Kim Gary's food! Okai... I know. Kim Gary dont really suit you all, but common, people, I just have to admit that they serve quite filling portion of fast food.

10% off is really something for a poor student like me. 10% off the meal of abalone double cheese bake rice, with my all-time favourite, Dung Ying Yong served together with their pathetic dessert [God knows how they tasted] together with an "ok-la" ABC soup. Believe it or not, this meal did last me the whole day. I have a great appetite and people that knows me, knows that!!

Okai.. let's continue. This double cheese meal wont really last that long except you have added something more to it, which is their free-flow of Parmesan cheese... See the word, "free"? That's what students like me always go for. *wink* Dont call me Si kui, cos I know, you'll be doing the same, if you love the cheesy taste and is a student like me! So, think before you say something. Anyhow, this brunch cost me RM20. Oooppss... Kinda expensive huh? But last me 3 meals leh.. Meaning each meal only cost me RM6.66! Hmmm... Now is that expensive or not?

May and I wanted to go for a student-priced movie but we couldnt make it on time. So, we just walked like two soh-pos around midvalley, aimlessly, before we headed to The Gardens. May and I wanted some cakes, nice ones. I, myself wanted a hot, melting chocolate cake while May wants a cheese slice. Again, going from cafe to cafe, shops to shops, bakery to bakery, we just couldnt make up our mind. Either the slice wasnt tempting enough to us to swallow them, or the price just dont match our theme of the day.

The night was so boring until May spotted BORDERS and there's where we get the max relaxation cum enjoyment. I found the cake that i want, so as May. And the best part was: we are given 50% off the cake of our choice! To add on to our enjoyment, we are allowed to bring 3 books from BORDERS and enjoy it in the Starbucks situated inside BORDERS!

Rocky road in a closer view. The two white patch was to be melted marshmellow, but I guessed the aircon was so cold that it solidifies and yea... I have to admit, they dont look good but believe me, they are nice!

I finished the whole book, enjoying my slice of Rocky road and also Mocha, with a night view of Boulevard Hotel and also the busy KESAS highway with just RM10! Yes, everything just cost me RM10! And I love this kind of life - Great cake + Great Drink + Great View + Great Book

Awww... I just couldnt say how relax I was in Starbucks. It was really a bliss! I enjoy the night so much. I would surely do it again!

2nd Betrayal

"This is the second time you betray me this year!" That was what May shouted to me after her colleagues sang her birthday song 2 days ago. (May's birthday was 19 and this 2nd celebration took place on 20th).

Well, there's a reason why May shouted me as " 2 5 lui". After the first betrayal in Sg Wang (where she was called to stage after i raised my hand to Digi DJ), I joined her colleagues to organised the birthday suprise for her on 20th. I know the plan before hand.

After celebrating with her on 19th with those lovely candles, she told me that she was expecting some kind of celebration from her fellow colleagues. "Oh NO!" That hit my mind instantly when she said that. It wont be a surprise anymore if she is expecting something from them. So, i quickly ran to her housemate's room, Irene, and break the news to Irene.

So, we quickly went online and praying hard that the chairlady of the event, Ms CY, will online too. And God Bless Us. She was online. So, we have to replan. The original plan was to hold May at Uni till 12pm by the MUMMY gang before she come back for lunch, where they all would be there in her condo for the surprise pizza party.

It wont be a surprise if that plan is to be carried out. So, we came up with Plan B the last minute. In Plan B, TIMING is the most important factor. MUMMY gang still have to hold May until the head of the MUMMY gang, Mama, received a misscall from Irene, after the food is served on the table. The MUMMY gang will then tell May that they are going to celebrate her belated birthday by treating her a lunch at a nearby restaurant. Then, Mama will have to misscall Irene again after the MUMMY gang reaches the gates of their Uni. Then, Irene have to call May. This is what Irene have to say to May: "May. Our house is being broke into! Ur laptop gone. And the house is in a mess"

Muahaha... Guess what? May was freaked out and damned worried when she receives the call. I guess her brain was blank out that time. Im so happy, if that is the case. That's the whole point of Plan B - Scared her to death!

So, when May and MUMMY gang arrived, May was pale when she saw the living room was a mess until the whole gang of them, popped up from the kitchen and sang her the birthday song!

And that's when May shouted at me: 2 5 lui!!!! (But i loved it! *wink*)

That's all for May's 2nd birthday celebration. But on that day, I got a call from Marchy, questioning me about me telling Octopy about her leg surgery. Ooops.. Sorry again, Marchy. I just dunno how to explain the scenario to Octopy. I guess the "explanation" was abit too "brief" *wink wink*

1st blog - All about May

At last! Phew... Start my very first blog. Okay... u all might think im such a wacko to actually start my own blogsite now (common, the computers and blogspots were invented long before this. Duhhh..) The idea of blogging dint really hit my stagnant brain until i found myself addicted to read the blog that my best pal, Marchy, wrote.. Ya... EVERYDAY I check her blog.

Okay.. so, here am i, starting my 1st blog. Just a reminder, not trying to act cute *argh* or trying to get people reading my blog, but Im kinda bad in English. Yea... my vocab is deteriorating. So, please... dont shoot me with any grammars or language errors. And i think im pretty bad at writing flowery sentences too.. Oh well, i just wanna write what ever i think. Mind U, this will be a long blog.

Okay ok.. To the main point. This time, my blog would be about May. Well..U may think is about the month of May (the month that i hate most for somesort of reason but nothing to do with my pals) but this post is about my dear pal, May that celebrated her 22nd birthday with me. Yea..only both of us celebrated her birthday as others cant make it. But though only celebrating her birthday with me and Irene (at the end), this can pretty much turn up very surprising and unexpected too.. "The DAY was GREAT!" quoted from May

So, we started up the day with playing yahoo games at around 12 midnight when i suddenly shouted Happy Birthday to her! Then we all doozed of to bed of course.. U might be wondering what game made the birthday girl addicted. Is Jojo's Fashion Show! Lol!

So, we woke up at about 11 am in the morning, before we dash to Sg Wang. May wanted to get a pair of shoes from Vincci and we thought that there would be an additional 30% off in a single receipt during her birthday month. So, we went to Pavillion instead, hopefully to get her shoes and more clothes from the Padini Concept store.

When we reach Pavillion, May cant find her shoes and we found out that 1st year new applicants is not given the 30% off discounts. :(

So, to compensate our disappointment, we splurge ourselves with food at B .Bee tea house. So, here we GO!

My Tom Yam Seafood that makes me cry like mad when i ate it. Lucky me, May wasnt with her camera.. Or else, Ill be doomed.

So after the birthday brunch, we went to have a movie at GSC Pavillion. Watch Nicky Cheong and dunno who's the leading actress and we were late for the show! OMG! This is the 1st time im late for a movie. The movie is quite ok but we laughed all the way. But, personally, i prefer another actress..

After the movie, May is so determined to get her shoes. So, we went back to Sg Wang to get her the birthday present she got for herself. Her face just tell u that she is so SATISFY with her spending. And dont ask me, I have no comment. As far as she loves it, that matters most.

Then, May suggested we go to sing K. To my amaze, this is the 1st time May sings K in KL! I seldom sing because I dunno know to read chinese and dunno much of the english songs. But, hmmm...lately im getting more familiar with some newest english songs. So, both of us sang, God knows how we sang, and we never stop helping ourselves with the Milo they served. Yummm....

We sang for 3 hours non stop, and when is about time to go, is about 8pm at night already. I told May i promised a friend to get some special birthday candles. So, we decided to get our feet back to Pavillion. On our way, we were attracted by the Digi promotion held in the middle of Sg Wang. We stopped and suddenly the DJ called out: Is there anyone of you whose birthday is today? My eyes were like sparkling! I wanna make May remember this birthday. So, i raised my hand up and the DJ came down to invite May to the stage where he sang her a part of the birthday song (I guess he doesnt know the whole song????) and also played Gudujus with her. Erm.. May banned me from uploading the video what she did on stage, so i better hear her words for now, as Im staying with her.. So, Digi also gave her a goodie bag and all the people in Sg Wang, knows is her birthday!

Since we are at Pavillion, i suggested we get some Jco Doughnuts for dinper (dinner + supper.. sounds like diaper to me..). We bought a dozen of them! So, this is what the doughnuts and candles meant for:

No wonder, they call me the Digi No 1 Fan but beware Digi, i might change to Celcom soon if the deals i heard is true!

So, that's how I ended May's 22nd birthday. But there's are plans for her the next day. And yes, im part of it.. A surprise belated birthday party from her fellow colleagues.
